If you have a design you want us to make, let us know! Some ideas include a remake of one of our sold products, studs with initials on them, a variation to an earring, or something completely original! Once you have an idea, contact us, and we will discuss pricing and delivery as well as the design then :)

Please note that we charge a minimum of $5 as an additional fee for custom orders, including sold earrings ordered to recreate. This covers some of our expenses including stock ordering and additional time to make them.

All of our earrings are handmade out of polymer clay, some with additional beads or metal components. We also use liquid clay, resin and acrylic paint, depending on the earring. Our earring backings, stud posts and hanging earrings are made out of stainless steel. We do not recommend wearing them in the shower or in harsh outdoor conditions as they may break. 

All of our earrings are lightweight, thanks to our designs and materials :) 

Hours and hours😅 . It's hard to say for any particular earring because they are all unique and we tend to produce multiple at one time. As an average though, it can take anywhere from 30min-3hrs to sculpt & make the earrings, 30min to sand and attach the backings, 5+hrs to take the photos, edit them, and put them up on social media and on on this website. And that's not even including baking times or the other weekly things we do to keep Rare running! It's a lot of work, but we do it because we love it, and it's the best experience ever when you walk around and see people wearing your hard work🥰 !
